What to Expect from Virtual Therapy

I offer online therapy for adults in Maryland and Virginia through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform (powered by Psychology Today). It’s easy to use—no app required—and accessible from your phone, tablet, or laptop.

All you need is a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection. To make your sessions feel as supportive and nurturing as possible, I encourage you to set up your space in advance with anything that brings comfort: a blanket, a glass of water, fidget or grounding items, or even art or writing supplies.

Your First Session

Our first session will include a review of my practice policies and a collaborative, in-depth conversation about your history, personal development, and what’s bringing you to therapy. From there, we’ll work together to plan the direction of your care.

Ongoing Sessions

Therapy is a collaborative process. I’ll offer tailored suggestions, practical tools, and gentle encouragement to support your growth. Depending on your goals, we may incorporate EMDR, expressive arts, or reflective work outside of sessions.

PAYMENT & INSURANCE:

  • Gada Therapy, LLC is an out of network provider. Therefore, payment in full is due at time of service in the form of credit/debit/FSA cards, cash, or check. (See FAQ page for more)

  • Upon your request, I will provide you with a monthly “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. I cannot make any guarantees about reimbursement.

  • You are advised to ask your insurance provider about reimbursement prior to beginning treatment. Use the list HERE to ask your insurance provide about what to expect regarding reimbursement.
